Description
Up for grabs is a copy of Caedmon Records' "Rootabaga Stories", as read by Carl Sandburg himself. Sandburg reads his bizarre Rootabaga Stories with a great voice on this album. Listen carefully and you can even hear him turning the pages in his script!
Please note: I am not an expert at grading records, so I use common sense terms to describe condition. Please feel free to contact me about any specifics regarding this item.
The sleeve is in great shape for being 59 years old, with the usual yellowing from age and some minor shelf wear around the edges. No split edges though! There is a yellow price tag (probably easily removed) and "A-1" written in marker just below the word "Stories". Very solid!
The inner sleeve has two tears at the top (visible in photos) and some minor corner wear, but no splits or writing.
The record itself has some minor scuffs and scratches but plays great! I've had this record in my collection for several years and have played it multiple times, always with excellent sound. The label looks brand new.
