LP a copertina non apribile, pubblicato nel 1976, a 11 tracce, con inserto di 4 pagine riportante i testi in inglese e note biografiche in giapponese e con inner sleeve lucido con foto e informazioni discografiche. OBI a colori, a sfondo bianco, riportante il prezzo di yen 2.500.

Carlos Augusto Alves Santana (Autlán de Navarro, Jalisco, 20 luglio 1947) è un chitarrista messicano, tra i musicisti di maggior successo nella storia del rock. Ha cominciato a riscuotere consensi tra gli anni settanta ed ottanta, con il suo gruppo Santana Blues Band. Già allora mescolava vari generi, quali salsa, rock classico, blues e fusion. Lì come oggi, Santana usava in modo estensivo i suoi assoli di chitarra, e si avvaleva anche di strumenti più tradizionali del suo paese. In seguito ha continuato a sperimentare questa formula, tra alterne fortune. Nel corso degli anni novanta Santana rischiò il declino, scongiurato nel 1999 dall'album Supernatural. Grazie a questo lavoro, il miglior successo della sua carriera, ha fatto conoscere la sua filosofia musicale alle nuove generazioni. Ha venduto più di 80 milioni di dischi, ed è anche considerato tra i migliori chitarristi rock esistenti.

Festival è il 10° album in studio di Santana, pubblicato nel gennaio del 1971 ed è probabilmente il maggiore successo in studio della Santana Blues Band.

Carlos Augusto Alves Santana (Autlán de Navarro, Jalisco, 20 July 1947) is a Mexican guitarist, among the most successful musicians in rock history. Began to collect support among the seventies and eighties, with his band Santana Blues Band. Even then mixed with various genres such as salsa, classic rock, blues and fusion. There, as now, Santana used extensively in his guitar solos, and also makes use of more traditional instruments of his country. He then continued to experiment with this formula, including various degrees of success. During the nineties Santana nearly the decline, averted in 1999 from the album Supernatural. Thanks to this work, the best success of his career, has made known his musical philosophy to new generations. Has sold over 80 million records and is also considered among the best rock guitarists in existence.

Festival is the 10th studio album of Santana, published in January 1971 and is probably the most successful study of the Santana Blues Band.
