Selling-up my extensive record collection. Here is an album on the SRS label, in the UK, from 1971. Best info I can find, says only 500 of these were pressed.

Cover -  Cover is quite good (we're talking 1971 here, white or cream un-laminated card..) Faults one might find include being moulded to the shape of the record, with light ring-wear, in a circle as usual. Top of the circle on the back goes through photo of the band, and it's worn the ink off - over their heads, trees in background. A bit grubby from handling. An old bend at one corner, another at the opening. Two short tears at the opening, one front one back, front one tiny, and back one about 1/4 inch. Has come un-stuck (Pritt stick job!) from internal flip-back for part of top edge. Bumps to corners - trivial on 2 corners, wear to corner at bottom of spine, and more of a bump at bottom of the opening. Not torn, split or written-on, except as mentioned already. Lyric sheet is present, in excellent condition.

Record - Not scratched all over, but various individual noticeable scratches, impacts and scuffs on both sides. Nothing particularly evil - there isn't what I think of as a "trench" across it! 
As you will know, acoustic-y folk type records will have more audible effect from scratches, as opposed to noisy rock. So I did a listening test.
I think that all the damages I noticed are audible, plus some I couldn't see. The good news is, it doesn't jump or stick, and the music sounds as it should - not worn, vocals and guitars still sound just as they should. However, scratchiness is audible through the whole record. Louder parts of the music drown-out scratches, but that's not a big percentage of the whole record. Where audible, you tend to get one or two crackles per rotation, more in some parts, especially start of side one. Crackles are loud in places, in quiet intros to songs for example.   I enjoyed doing the play-test - the occasional bits of the two female vocalists singing together were interesting, and it's not full of folkie cliches, they're quite an individual-sounding - and professional - group.
So, an interesting record to hear, if you can tolerate crackles with your music.       

Record Collector's Guide suggests a price of £100 for a mint copy of this, so my start price makes generous allowance for the condition of this particular example.

I have been collecting records for 50 years (when finances allowed!), and now it's time to sell-up. I bought them mostly around local shops (second-hand), but sometimes from e-bay, and sometimes new, for my favourite bands.

When I'm checking for damage on records, I look at them carefully with my reading glasses on, in good daylight. This method detects any bits of damage that will affect what you hear when listening to it - and lots that are not audible. Using a spotlight or direct sunlight shows more surfacey marks sometimes, but I don't do that - records are for listening to, not trying to see your face in.

I don't mail things personally, to countries outside the UK - ( I mean it, don't ask) - but I am happy to use E-Bay UK's Global Shipping Program, for sending things abroad.

Under this scheme, I send the parcel to an e-bay depot in UK, and they forward it to the overseas buyer.

They have a tracked courier service, for the journey from their UK depot, to the buyer.

This means that I can ONLY accept payments through e-bay (Pay Now button), and I can't send invoices. Combined postage may or may not be possible through the Program - if e-bay shows combined postage for their courier job, I'll do combined postage for the transit inside UK. I can't see information about this until you pay.
