Here is your chance to own a wonderful album/LP by The Carpenters----signed/autographed in person by Karen Carpenter. Occasionally I open up my Carpenters vault and offer something special--especially during the Holidays. Those of you who know me--know that I grew up in Downey and had incredible access to The Carpenter family. This particular LP was signed by Karen at The Hotel Laguna in Laguna Beach with a somewhat private patio on the ocean. She had driven over from Newport Beach to have lunch with me and a couple of friends and she brought a small box with about 5 or 6 LP's as I recall. She signed 3 or 4 for me and my friends. She never showed up empty-handed--for anything. This is a funny insight into Karen because she liked to "act" incognito. However--she would often wear HUGE sunglasses and a HUGE hat as a "disguise". Someone would almost always recognize her and wander up to her and ask if she was Miss Karen--she would have a bit of a flutter-and then be so gracious with whoever it was in front of her. LP is in terrific condition and has been wrapped in plastic and in a storage box for over 30 years. Please feel free to write with questions--about the LP. Happy Holidays and Happy Bidding.
