Rob Carr & Bill Kahl -- Communication 1 LP

Original 1971 private pressing on Grotesque Records (East Lansing MI) (catalog # GS 101).

Great and completely obscure folk psych album recorded in 1970, duo acoustic folk guitar work in the vein of John Fahey or Davy Graham, with Eastern influences bubbling under, beautiful mystic female vocals on several tracks, and a little electric guitar. Acid Archives describes this LP as "psychedelic John Fahey" and labels it 'downer folk'... 'introspective' or 'moody' might be better terms, but whatever it's called, it's a rewarding listen.

CONDITION: Cover NM / Vinyl VG+   still in shrinkwrap, vinyl is excellent, light wear, slight scuffing, a small pressing imperfection causes a few tics.

Graded conservatively using Goldmine standards [G / G+ / VG / VG+ / NM / ]
