Description

An original 1st issue from 1990 whilst Carter were still building their reputation. Matrix A1/B1 - 1st cut. Townhouse Max - both sides. Publishing by 'Mouse Music'. The vinyl comes housed in an original cover with bespoke inner sleeve - "printed in England". Note how the 'Carter Club' address is yet to include a p.o. box - a sign of a band still with a small fan base! So, 100% genuine and 100% complete.
Vinyl (Ex/Ex-) In super condition given the vintage - has only seen relatively light use. Expect a couple of light marks per side - nothing heavy or likely to cause problem. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals a mostly EXCELLENT level of playback with one slight deviation. A bit of a cracker this copy - all the magic is still their from '90. Crank it up and annoy the neighbours! Intros and inbetweens are nice and clean and the audio comes across with excellent clarity. A few crackles in tracks per side [e.g. quietest moments of GI Blues], and a couple of isolated clicks observable on side 1. But to be frank barely noticeable against the sheer volume on this record. Lovin' it!
Cover (Ex-) Many original copies are probably gonna be looking a bit rotten by now. But this example is well tidy. Perhaps just a slight touch of ageing at the extremities. No creasing and minimal edge wear. Sharp firm openings and the spine is 100% intact. Overall the cover retains excellent rigidity.
Inner (Ex-) Pretty unaged. No splits. one small blemish.
