Casey Bill (Weldon?) - Blues Singer w/ guitar, piano, bass Bluebird label 8060 -Midnight Blues / Way Down in Louisiana. Scuffed, worn and many light scratches, some you can sort of feel but nothing real deep- not sure how it will play. I tried to take pictures so you could see the surfaces.
According to Wikipedia, Casey Bill Weldon (December 10, 1909 – circa 1970?) was an American country blues musician,[1] born in Pine Bluff, Arkansas who later lived and worked in Chicago was known as one of the great early pioneers of the slide guitar.[2] He played upbeat, hokum and country blues tunes, both as a solo artist and as a member of the Memphis Jug Band. He was married to singer and guitarist Memphis Minnie in the '20s.
I am currently listing a new batch of 78's fresh out of an estate. All are in used condition with possible scratches, scuffs, worn labels, small dings or dents, etc. They could probably all do with a cleaning. I have no way to listen to them in order to grade them but I will try to note any flaws that I see. If you need a certain record to be in very good condition, please contact me first and I will describe it as best as I can. If the record is very cloudy, scuffed or has obvious flaws, I will try to note it in the description.
I sandwich records between cardboard, place in a box with padding and ship by priority or standard, whichever ends up less expensive for the buyer. I will combine shipping and charge according to actual weight charges- I do not charge extra for handling.
