I wanted to share some of the intimacy I experienced through the recording process, including Hailey's outtakes, Molly Lewis' unabridged recording from a hotel room in Paris, studio experiments with Meg Duffy, a phone call with a wildlife rehabilitator, and an extended summer walk through New York to accompany a live take of my favorite standard, "Stardust," recorded late at night at Figure 8 in Brooklyn with some of my dearest friends.
