One of the hardest Pink Island label Lp's to collect.
The sleeve is fully laminated and a gatefold. This is also the true first pressing sleeve, which is indicated in a couple of ways.
1. The spine is wider, and the typeface larger
2. The inner gatefold surface is heavily textured, and the later pressings were not
3. The sleeve makers name is on the later pressings only.
The labels are in excellent condition having no spindle hole wear, and only minor spider lines
The vinyl itself is glossy and clean , but does have some light surface lines.
having playgraded this I am confident of the following.
There is some light background on the run in groove on both sides, but thins down to very light noise, which is in the background in the form of minor cracle and some light pops. The actual soundquality of the recording is superb.
There os no distortion whatsoever which indicated that the Lp has not had a really heavy stylus on it, and the actual production of the sound is really good.
So in grading the LP EX, the consideration is that a little light background is there but the allbum plays superbly well with crystal clear sound
