I LOVE this record! Guepajé! Has SO many great Afro-Colombian costeño tunes, from the classic “Cumbia Montañera” to the super funky (and double entendre) title song, “Aronde Me Meteré” with its sick clarinet and bombardino brass arrangement and stompingbeat. From the opening track, “Toro Cachon” the indications is that the little record is gonna be a guaranteed party-starter. The real surprise is the finalsong,a crazy version of the Cuban standard made famous by Buena Vista Social Club,”El Carretero.” Brass combined with accordion in the joyful big band Los Corraleros de Majagual and Los Caporales del Magdaleña style. Don’t miss this opportunity to have yourself a little slice of authentic and beautiful tropical coastal Afro-Colombian dance music! Only reason I’m selling it is because I found a second copy.
