This mega rare Prog Rock LP from 1978 is a must for any prog music lover. I got this at a house moving sale last week. I cleaned it a couple of times on my spin-clean machine. The jacket is very nice (VG+) some light seam wear, color is nice, no splits or writing on it. Label shows some spindle wear. Vinyl is clean but there are some scratches that are going to be heard in some soft passages. I tested thw whole LP twice on 2 stereo systems. Played better on my vintage 1973 MacIntosh/Empire turntable system. The Empire has a heavier tonearm than my Technics SL-1200MK2. Side One: Introspect has background noise in the begging. Fades when music kicks in and comes back on soft passages. Gong played just fine.
Side Two: A scratch will cause a slight bump/skip in the middle of The Crossing. It's on a bass not and kind of weird. Background noise The first minute of Days & Changes. From then on played very nice to the end.
I know how in demand this LP is and have tried my best to describe it. I really liked the album a lot. These guys are from Long Island, NY. Like me.
