Cecil Taylor 5et Hard driving jazz w.J.Coltrane-K.Dorham UA mono DG red   Cecil Taylor Quintet  ' Hard driving jazz ' UNITED ARTISTS UAL 4014 (USA) mono red label with deep groove - rec. in N.Y. on October 1958 - issued in 1959   Cecil Taylor : piano - 'Blue train' (John Coltrane) : tenor sax - Kenny Dorham : trumpet - Chuch Israel : bass - Louis Hayes : drums Side 1 : Double clutching (C.Israel) - Like someone in love (Van Heusen-Burke)  Side 2 : Shifting down (K.Dorham) - Just friends (Klenner-Lewis)    Visual grading : record is VG+ to EX- full lustre clean has light wear and few wispy lines more visible on side 2. Also a couple of unfeelable scuffs on both sides. Clean labels with minimal spindle wear  Playing grading : record is EX- plays very well with loud and clear sound. Has few light occasional background noise in few quieter parts. Has three loud pops at the end of first track side 2  Cover grading : cover is VG+ to EX- has very light wear. Front cover is clean and spine is nice with all titles clearly readable. Bottom right corner is lightly bumped. Back cover has light age yellowing and has a slight trace of a small erased writing on top right corner
