Description

Blue Note BST 84260 Cecil Taylor Conquistador! this is an early U.S. stereo repressing of this much acclaimed album. I have been unable to work out which year this copy was pressed but it has the following in its dead wax margins:

Side A: BNST . 84260 . A (etched) VAN GELDER (stamped)
Side B: BNST . 84260 . B (etched) VAN GELDER (stamped)

The vinyl remains in nice condition with just a few light surface marks and superficial scratches evident and the record plays back with minimal reduction in its sound quality. Using the Record Collector Magazine system, I would grade at very good condition. The outer sleeve exhibits some staining and age discoloration and there is damage/tearing to its lower right corner on its opening edge. The record comes with a discolored poly-lined white inner. I have attempted to show all cover faults in the above photographs.
