Description

Cecil Taylor Jazz Advance (Transition trlp 19) This was obtained from a radio station dj and so it has "sample" handwritten on the front, presumably by an employee of Transition. The cover's spine is split - or is it unfinished - it's not really clear. The disc is beautiful and lustrous but it has a skip on one side - just bad luck, may be a pressing defect or just the dj not caring for it, although it was sleeved when I got it. The LP other than that plays well. The booklet is like new. LP includes: Bemsha Swing, Charge 'Em Blues, Azure, etc., includes booklet, sample written on cover

All items are original unless specifically noted. We will not sell you a reissue unless it is clearly noted in the title and the description.

We do offer insurance within the US. Rates are $1.35 up to $50 and $1.10 per additional $50.
We use sturdy LP mailers designed for the purpose. Occasionally, though, the post office may behave like the gorilla in the Samsonite commercial. Naturally, we have no control over that, so you may feel insurance is wise.
If an uninsured or unregistered package goes missing, please be patient. Don't file a claim - give it time to arrive. Despite what you may hear about the US Postal Service, they are in fact very reliable. The number of packages we've sent that actually remained lost is virtually zero out of tens of thousands.
We do refund for any reason provided the item returns in the same condition it left (ie we don't cover postal damage)
