Description

Cecil Taylor (with Alan Silva, Eddie Gale, Henry Grimes, Ken McIntyre, Jimmy Lyons) UNIT STRUCTURES.  Blue Note 4237, recorded 1966. Mono original. Blue Note records Inc – New York USA on label. “VAN GELDER” stamped into wax. Like most mono editions of this record, the record plays VG++ at best. This one also has 2 dig spots that are crunchy.  Audibly it is overall VG+. Jacket though is pristine, NM-. original sleeve included.


Here’s the fourth of about 50 batches of records from a fastidious NY-area collector with excellent taste. One owner since release in most cases. Very many of these were played either very little or very carefully. They’ve been carefully play-graded as well.  Low starts, as you can see, and almost no reserves. Bid with confidence.
