First US issue of this great intense free jazz performance originally recorded live in Paris in 1969 as part of the legendary Nuits de la fondation Maeght concert series. This fantastic group features Taylor (piano), Jimmy Lyons (alto sax), Sam Rivers (tenor & soprano saxes), and Andrew Cyrille (drums) performing a single extended piece, "The Second Act Of A". The recording has been remastered for this release and does sound better than the original Shandar issue.

Taylor has worked with Steve Lacy, John Coltrane, Archie Shepp, Sunny Murray, Albert Ayler, and Max Roach. Cyrille played with Eric Gale, Roland Kirk, Milford Graves, Coleman Hawkins, Junior Mance, Marion Brown, Rashied Ali, David S. Ware, and Billy Bang. All records are shipped with poly plastic sleeves. All packages are completely sealed with strong packing tape covering all openings.
