Celtic Frost - Emperor's Return Vinyl Record Cracked But Plays. Poor Condition
Unfortunately, this record is cracked. Someone must have dropped something with a hard corner on it that cracked it. It is cracked about a 1/3 of the way through. There’s a small portion that will play with no issues. I have tested it and it played through without skipping. I have a really heavy record player with pretty good anti-skating though. It of course will have a heavy pop when playing as the needle goes over the crack. The record is in poor condition obviously. It’s very unfortunate because this is a rare and awesome record. Sleeve and inner sleeve have wear but no holes or rips. There’s a small tear at the top of inner sleeve. See pictures for the wear and crack in record.
Because it’s cracked, I am pretty much just selling it for the cover art and to have this as a piece of metal memorabilia. Maybe someone might want to hang it up in their room. But if you did want to buy it and have a serious turn table with a good weight and anti-skate settings, it just might play through and through for you.
This is the version that doesn’t have underlined text. It is definitely rare and an original from back in the day.
