Description
LP vinyl record released on the Gael-Linn label in Ireland in 1960; catalogue number CEF 003. Record is called "Ceolta Éireann" and features the traditional Irish singing of Séan O Seacháin and Máirtím Ó Díomasaigh. In addition to being a talented sportsman and singer, O Seacháin was elected Secretary General of the GAA a few years after the release of this record. Record comes in a gatefold sleeve with the lyrics of the songs printed on the inner sleeve and on the rear of the sleeve. All the songs are in Irish. Note the very modernist sleeve design befitting a young record label that had been founded the year of this record's release. Sleeve has some shelf wear to the edges but is otherwise well-preserved. Vinyl has some sleeve scuffs and the odd mark but plays well. Track listing:
