Description

I am a 45 year collector of LPs and 45s. All of the LPs I have listed on eBay are from my personal collection.

This LP is a DJ white label promo LP of Chad & Jeremy's Distant Shores, catalog Columbia CL 2564. It was released in September 1966.

I acquired this LP decades ago and have played it once to grade it for this listing. The vinyl has one very light line on Side 1 and one very light scuff mark on the first track on Side 2. Otherwise the vinyl is flawless. I have graded it EX+ visually due to the above mentioned flaws; however, play-graded it is easily M-. I heard only a couple very light ticks throughout the entire LP. The LP plays without any pops, hiss, sibilants, or surface noise of any kind. The sound of this easy listening duo on this promo LP is superb.

The spindle hole shows no sign of play wear although there are a couple spindle tracks around the spindle hole on both sides. See the photos.

I have graded the jacket EX due to a small name written near the top seam of the reverse panel. It has the DJ timing strip on the front panel of the jacket. The jacket has no ring wear or seam splits. The front panel shows spots of minor storage wear but nothing very noticeable. The corners are square and sharp with some very minor wear to the top right corner. See the photos.

This LP has not had many spins on a turntable and is one of the better DJ promo LPs I have ever seen.
