Champion Jack Dupree – From New Orleans to Chicago UK DECCA mono

 

This spectacular album is accompanied by no less than Eric Clapton, Tony McPhee, John Mayall and Keef Hartley, produced by Mike Vernon and recorded in England 1966. One of my favourite blues LPs, as Dupree is working out the songs with very high quality. Shows what Blues really is about! It’s very hard to place any particular songs in focus as all songs are the best you can get. R&B.. Blues and that Dupree’s sense of New Orleans humour.. Backed up with a hard-rocking band! A Stunning record and recommended to any Blues lovers!

First pressing on maroon Unboxed and grooved Decca label.

 

Conditions:

Cover: EX- / very slight discolouring on back and a very slight crease on front. Solid and a good looking cover!

Disc: EX- / couple of very hard to notice hairlines and rubbing on side A, of course they cannot be heard. They can only be seen under a strong light. Plays EX with 2-3 very soft clicks on side A:s 1st track.

Grading Description:

I grade records strictly, but fairly. Please use the pictures as a reference.

M- : A nearly perfect record/sleeve and the highest grade I use.

EX : Almost perfect as new, with some minor flaws

VG+: Record/Sleeve show some sign of having been played/handled, but still in great condition.

VG : Record/Sleeve has seen better days, however still in representable condition, all be with some surface noise and wear on cover. Items in lesser than VG condition will not be offered for sale, nor will I accept them in my personal collection.
