Description
This is part of a big auction of Checker & Chess 45's I'm running this week. There are lots of rarities and few Chicago-area surprise items here. Take a look at these and keep an eye out for a Vee-Jay/DeLuxe Records auction starting 6/12 and King/Federal auction in late June. Here's the info on this item:

Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1953
Notes: Very hard to find blues single on the Chance label. This was released in Feb '53, towards the end of the label's operation. Not many of the 7" version were ever produced.
Vinyl Condition: VG, vinyl is clean and pretty nice. Both sides play really nice with intermittent light crackle, mainly at the first of each track and in the runoff. Not overpowering, but there if you listen for it. Side A has some visual hazing, but neither side has any major scratches or scuffs. The labels are a different story. They are very liquid damaged with some color loss and significant scuffing. They are still well attached though and as long as they aren't handled roughly should continue to display okay. It's nice that these exist in any condition and it's great if you are looking for a listener copy.
