Description
Chariot Riders Sensimilla Dub. Crystal D Records. Made in Jamaica. Vinyl VG+, Cover VG. Matrix: DH-8980-A, DH-8980-B.
My listening equipment is a highly revealing Yamaha PF-800 turntable (top quality suspended sub-chassis deck), pre/power amps and B&W Matrix Reference speakers. Before listing I always clean LPs on a vacuum record cleaning machine and I always determine audio quality by playing the LP not just by visual inspection. For this LP I have used an Ortofon MC10 Super MC cartridge.
Played on my system, this LP grades VG+ with just some very minor background noise to occasional quiet parts and the odd soft tick. There is a tiny chip to the edge of the vinyl but it does not affect the run-in groove so has no audio effect (see the final two close-up photos which show both sides of the record). The matt single-slip cover grades VG with just some small scuffs to the front top and bottom right hand corners (see close-up photos) and the back top left corner (see close-up photo). Will be well packaged for safe transit.
