Description

Jazz Workshop (with Charles Mingus, Benny Green, Kai Winding, J.J. Johnson, Willie Dennis, John Lewis, Arthur Taylor) VOLUME ONE: TROMBONE RAPPORT Debut Records 5, recorded 1954.  Jacket is Ex+ front and Ex back—with edge yellowing and a red grease pencil price notation. Disc plays Ex with some crackle starting from edge on “Move”.  That clears up significantly farther into the disc, but never goes away fully.

Second offering from the vast, very special collection of an international avant-garde LP maven, to be offered across the coming year.
