A perfect example of this classic LP from the Mingus Jazz Workshop (Atlantic 1237). Pithecanthropus Erectus Atlantic 1st press deep groove black label w Jackie McLean,J.R. Monterose,Mal Waldron and Willie Jones from 1956.
LP is stunning and glossy and is a solid NM-, only the faintest of hairlines from the record being removed and returned to the sleeve, I played this LP to test the playback and it's amazing, no detractors. Blinding total original lustre, beautiful labels. Jacket is EX w perfect thick spine,solid seams and sharp rigid corners. A hint of foxing on rear is all that keeps it from NM. Laminate front is stunning, small portion at opening has peeled, in photos, a true museum piece.. "BRILLIANT"
