Description
This is a beautiful Near Mint Speakers Corner reissue of Charles Mingus' "Pithecanthropus Erectus," pressed by Pallas in Germany. This LP is in superb visual and auditory Near Mint condition, this is super quiet vinyl. Everything is in outstanding condition, the outer sleeve is Near Mint, the original shrink is intact, and the original inner sleeve, plus the original inner advertising paperwork are all in Near Mint condition. I am the original owner and have played it 2 or 3 times. This is the wonderful sounding reissue mastered by Kevin Gray at Cohearant Audio from the original analog master tapes, and his initials are in the deadwax. In terms of the identification, the labels show 1237 on both sides. In the dead wax on side 1 the stampers show "1237-A", on side 2 they show "1237-B",and both sides are inscribed with "KPG at CA".
