Description

Up for auction is a rare original deep groove mono pressing of the Charles Mingus Sextet 'The Moods Of Mingus' 10" LP on Savoy Records MG-15050. Other musicians include Teo Macero, George Barrow, John LaPorta, Rudy Nichols, and Mal Waldron.

Record info:

VG+ with a few minor scuffs but plays with moderate surface noise in some areas. It still sounds great!

Cover info:

VG+ with solid seams except for a 1/2 inch bottom seam split at jacket opening. There is also some other areas of seam wear. The front cover has a library style #d sticker 

Label / Pressing info:

Original deep groove mono press with RVG initials on both sides in the dead wax area.

Buy with confidence. I grade conservatively. I’ve been selling vinyl since 1976. All records are cleaned with a VPI professional record cleaner and are shipped with records outside the covers to avoid seam damage.

Shipping for US customers is $4 for media mail or $10 for Priority mail. For high value items I would recommend adding insurance.

International shipping will be $18. I reserve the right to request registered or courier mail for high value items and to some countries (Italy, Brazil, Russia) due to the unreliability of their postal services.
