Description
This is Atlantic Records 1260, Charles Mingus The Clown, an original deep groove black label mono issue of this classic recording. The record is in a strong VG+ condition showing a few light hairline marks on side 1 and playing quietly except for infrequent light ticks. The laminated cover has water damage on the back with loss of some of the notes on the bottom. The front has only light browning on the bottom (see photos). Both seams and spine are excellent as are the labels. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12 in mono mode. This is still an excellent collector's grade copy of this hard-to-find original recording. Please check our other listings as we discount shipping for multiple wins. Thanks for looking.
