Description

This is the original deep-groove mono pressing of Charles Mingus “Presents Charles Mingus” on Candid CJM 8005. The playing surface is in near-new condition, with inaudible splotches that are typical of a record that has been stored for a long time in its inner sleeve; perhaps played once. The cover is bright and clean throughout; two small areas of flaking at the opening; some cracking – but no splits or flaking – at the top of the spine; the bottom seam shows ¼” wear at the spine and ¼” split at the opening.
