Description

This is the original hybrid rim pressing of Charles Mingus “At the Bohemia” on Debut DEB-123. The playing surface is in as-new condition, with a high luster. Debut records were pressed on vinylite, a brittle compound on which labels did not adhere; in many instances, the labels became loose and were lost – one or both – or had to be glued back on. This record has both labels re-attached. The cover has a clean and bright front photo be Bob Parent; the back slick shows shelf wear, a number (C4711) stamped in the upper left corner, initials “WSC” inked in small letters at the top edge, and a 1” x 1 ½” chip at the lower left corner. Personnel include Eddie Bert, George Barrow, Mal Waldron, Willie Jones, and Max Roach. WE NOW ACCEPT PAYPAL.
