Description

Here is a sweet touchstone for any serious collector of Pre-World War II blues - an original black and gold deep groove label stereo Yazoo pressing of "Charley Patton, Founder of the Delta Blues".  The two lps are high gloss and near mint with no marring or scratching or scuffing.  If you are interested in this item, you are probably informed enough to know the recordings are taken from rare '78s so they' re not as clear as digital files of Brittany's auto-tuned squeals exiting a limo, but the vinyl itself is in fantastic, near mint shape.
    The heavy gatefold cover is very good, still bright and clean, but with faint ringwear to front and with a quarter inch chip missing from top of spine.  The eight page booklet bound in is still intact and clean, but with small discrete numerical notations next to the titles on the first page.
