Recorded between june 1929 and february 1, 1934.

This Issue: Multicolored background with aged photo portrait of Patton, centered. His name, in large, stylized, orange letters, above. Below, in black letters on white background: "Founder of the Delta Blues" and, below that, near bottom, on peach-colored background: "1929" and "1934" with, between the two years, the label logo with catalog number.
On back, mostly peach-colored background with, in small letters, centered, the track list. Flanking it are decorative, precise reproductions of period advertisements of six of the tracks. Label's New York City address is at bottom, centered, with, in smaller letters, "Jacket Made in Canada", ranged right.

Large-format eight-page booklet contains notes and easy-to-read lyrics for all songs, plus five photos on back page.

Center Labels and Runouts: ?Multicolored peacock in top half of label on orange background. Catalog number left of center hole; side number to right. Artist and album title, followed by track list (some titles with asterisk), below. Near bottom: "*Courtesy of CBS, Inc.". "YAZOO" in large, stylized, orange letters at bottom.

Condition of Records: N. I don't call the set NEW, above, because the cover doesn't look brand new (description follows). But these records were never played. In fact, they were only taken out of their paper sleeves to be photographed for this auction.
Condition of Cover: Front artwork and text clean, clear; no marks. Top-left corner bent; it and bottom corner bumped. Back cover equally without blemishes. No ringwear front or back. Spine fine other than already-mentioned bumps. Open ends very good, no bends or crimping. Inside of gatefold perfectly clean; booklet was untouched till photographed for auction.
No shelfwear anywhere.

I'm the original owner of the records. I have carefully kept the set stored upright on a shelf, away from sunlight, with the records in their original paper sleeves and gatefold cover.

I'm an independent seller divesting his own record collection. I'm not selling from a store or warehouse, with multiple copies of titles, or on behalf of a professional collector.

Shipping: Ebay requires seller to indicate shipping methods and other particulars, then automatically inserts the cost at the top of the listing. Buyer will pay amount as determined by destination, by shipping method he chooses, and by required insurance (see: below); I don't gouge the price to make more profit. (USPS Media Mail is cheapest; I will provide prices for US Priority, or for FedEx or UPS ground, if requested.)

Insurance is mandatory on shipments to US addresses: The final price of the item determines the amount of insurance required. Please wait till I inform you of your total cost prior to submitting payment. It and not Ebay's stated cost is the amount to be paid.

**For winners outside US**: USPS shipping options are International Priority and International Express. Both methods include insurance but only Express provides a return receipt. (Check USPS's website for shipping prices.) If you want a private-company shipper, I will quote you the cost at end of auction. First-Class-Package service, which doesn't include insurance, is an option; the shipping cost will be lower, but if your item doesn't arrive you have no recourse. The risk is yours.

Packing: The LP will be carefully placed in the standard cardboard LP box. If you want it packed in any special way, or with cardboard inserts for extra protection, please say so.

Payment: Although Ebay now processes payments directly, I also accept Paypal. I accept cash in cases of in-person deliveries.

Returns: Returns will be accepted in cases of error in description.

N A record known to have never been played. A CD that has never been removed from its jewel case.

NM A record or CD known or assumed to have been played. LP may have a surface fingerprint smudge or other minor blemish; it may have slight spindle wear. CD might have been played, but it and its booklet, and its case (or box), show little if any wear. Otherwise, item appears same as N in all respects.
VG++ More handling marks than on NM but should play like new. VG+ Some wear may affect play or there may be a few minor blemishes.
VG More than a few blemishes; may have a scratch. If so, will be described in detail.
