CHARLEY PATTON - PATTON, SIMS, & BERTHA LEE, Herwin 213, gatefold jacket.
This fine release from Herwin contains 16 classic sides recorded 1929-1934, expertly mastered by the late Nick Perls.
Patton performs Mean Black Cat Blues, Magnolia Blues, Some Happy Day, You're Gonna Need Somebody When You Die, Jesus Is a Dying-Bed Maker, I Shall Not Be Moved, Joe Kirby, Jim Lee Blues.
Patton accompanies Henry Sims on Farrell Blues, Come Back Corrina, Tell Me Man Blues, Be True Be True Blues.
Patton accompanies Bertha Lee on Yellow Bee, Mind Reader Blues, Oh Death, Troubled 'Bout My Mother.
Condition of record is E, no scuffs, no scratches, spindle marks. Jacket shows very slight overall wear, no seam splits.

M = Mint. Brand new, unplayed. We never use the term "mint" to describe a used record, no matter how clean the record is.
E = Excellent. Some evidence of having been played, with no audible defect.
V = Very Good. Noticeable wear, visual and audible. Records with slight surface noise and/or scuffs fall into this category.
G = Good. Not really all that good. Records in this category have more significant damage or wear.
F = More severe damage, distracting surface noise. Only used in incidence of extreme rarity.
P = Poor condition, proves existence of record only.

Shipments are made on Saturday and Tuesday mornings. Records which have been paid for by 3:00 PM on Fridays and Mondays will be shipped on the next shipping day.;
