Description
Original, blue label with silver text, deep groove. Leader, Mariano, alto sax; Herb Pomeroy, trumpet; Dick Twardzik, piano; Bernie Griggs, bass; Jimmy Weiner, drums. Notable for the appearance of the talented, enigmatic pianist Twardzik. Name of original record store is satmped on the back cover.
Cover VG+ or Better Intact and clean. Small sticker with number on the upper corner near the spine. Some aging, more evident along the edges of the back cover. Minor soil from handling.
Record: VG+ Visually shows no wear. There are 2 light surface rub marks and several very light brush-like rub marks. There are intervals of very light , short background noise and few clicks. Track 1, Side B has the most surface noise. Some tracks have no noise. The overall rating is conservative as most of the record has little or no noise. Generally speaking, this is a fine copy of an early Prestige 10' record which have surface noise despite their clean appearance. Audibly checked.
