Charlie Mingus  ' The black saint and the sinner lady '  IMPULSE! A 35 (USA) mono orange label - rec. on January 20, 1963 - original 1963 issue - on trail-off (dead wax) has stamped the 'RVG' for Rudy Van Gelder - has the ABC-Paramount inner sleeve   this record was unpaid in a previous auction   Charlie Mingus : bass, piano - Charlie Mariano : alto sax - Jerome Richardson : baritone, soprano sax, flute - Dick Hafer : tenor sax - Richard Williams, Rolf Ericson : trumpets - Quentin Jackson : trombone - Don Butterfield : tuba - Jacki Byard : piano - Jay Berliner : guitar - Dannie Richmond : drums

Side 1 :  Solo dancer  -  Duet solo dancers  -  Group dances   Side 2 :  Trio and group dancers  -  Single solo and group dance  -  Group and solo dance   All compositions by Charles Mingus   Visual grading : record is VG to VG+ full lustre has light wear. Has few light unfeelable surface marks and paper's scuffs on both sides. Side 2 has also few wispy lines. Clean labels with light spindle wear. In the trail-off (dead wax) has stamped 'RVG' for Rudy Van Gelder   Playing grading : record is EX plays well with loud and clear sound. Has few light occasional ticks and minimal occasional background noise Cover grading : folder laminated cover is VG+ has wear to corners, edges and to spine which has all titles readable and also has a tiny piece of paper missing on top. Front cover is clean. Back cover has a light ringwear and on top has a factory sticker with the titles of the tracks. Inner parts have age yellowing   I am selling here records from my own private collection. I have not a store or a website.
