Description

(1954 Clef  MG C-609) This is a beautiful original pressing of the Charlie Parker big band classic. It certainly seemed like a departure in his career at the time of its release, but time has been very kind to it. The solos still soar even though some still get stuck about the strings and band. I grade very conservatively. Many would grade this at VG+ but I still believe in accuracy. I'm a collector myself and hate to get an over graded record. There are light scratches which make a little noise in the quiet passages, but nothing distracting. Someone who is used to getting a crappy record graded at VG is going to love this grading. It is a very enjoyable listening experience. The jacket has light wear, but as the photo shows, the fabulous cover graphics look great.  I ship in appropriate mailers, so with my 100 percent positive feedback you can bid with confidence.
