Description
This is Clef Records MG C-5003, Charlie Parker The Genius Of Charlie Parker #1 Night And Day, a black trumpet label, deep groove original mono issue of this classic album. This is the first issue of many of these pieces and absolutely, the first issue of all of them on 12" record. The record is near mint condition showing almost no signs of use, and playing quietly throughout. The labels are excellent showing only light spindle marks. The original cover has a small bump on the upper left corner but is otherwise near mint. This is a superb collector's grade copy of this wonderful piece offered without a reserve price. The record was cleaned on a VPI 17 and played on a Linn Sondek LP12. This is part of a large Jazz record collection I will be offering in the next few months.
