This is a Japanese only pressing on the Verve label from 1984.
This set has all the Charlie Parker Verve material as well as alternate takes.
Featuring:
- all the JATP jams from this period
- all of the "Bird & Strings" sides
- his meetings with Machito's Cuban orchestra
- the 1950 session with Dizzy Gillespie & Thelonious
Monk
- small-group dates including a 1951 date with Miles Davis
- odd encounters with voices & studio bands
- the “Jam Blues" with fellow altoists Johnny Hodges and Benny Carter
- his final recordings, a set of Cole Porter tunes.
Comes in an box with OBI.
Includes a 28 page booklet featuring track details and complete Charlie Parker discography.
Includes a photocopy of the 6"×4" hype sticker.

All LP labels are black Verve Records with silver printing, with title in English and Japanese.
Discs 1 to 9 are all clean and EX condition.
Disc 10 is very heavily marked for some reason. So please bear this in mind.
The box is VG, intact looks fine, has some storage wear / agewear, please see pics.
