For the serious jazz collector out there, here is an extremely Rare Charlie Parker 10" MONO LP on Clef Records BIRD AND DIZ. Recorded in 1949 & 1950, the album features Dizzy Gillespie, Thelonious Monk, Buddy Rich, Curly Russell, Kenny Dorham, Max Roach, Al Haig, and Tommy Potter. The 8 tracks on the album are: 1) Bloomdido 2) Melancholy Baby 3) Relaxing With Lee 4) Passport 5) Leap Frog 6) An Oscar For Treadwell 7) Mohawk 8) Visa.
The album cover and vinyl are in VG condition-the cover has NO rips, tears, splits, writing anywhere-the vinyl has a few light surface scratches, but overall is in VERY GOOD condition for its age. There is NO writing anywhere on the label-catalog # is Clef Records MG C-512. I doubt you will come across this very rare item in any better condition.
