Giorgio Moroder • Various – Navy Seals (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) Pop Rock LP Vinyl Record (1990)
Fantastic German import 1st release.
Owned since I bought it new in 1990.
The movie (1990, dir. Lewis Teague) starred Charlie Sheen and Joanne Whalley.
Condition
VINYL: EX. Superbly clean on visual inspection. No obvious marks, scuffs or hairlines on either side. Played just pre-listing and sound clarity is fantastic throughout. Run-ins are clear and all cues sound superb. Plays with no skipping, jumping or sticking. Handled carefully since bought new.
OUTER SLEEVE/COVER: EX. Colours are unfaded and no tears. Some minor edge and corner wear with some slight marks. Some creasing on edges/spine too. Mild disc showthrough outline evident. A great example.
INNER SLEEVE: EX. Original. White poly-lined paper with angled corners. Mild creases/crinkling but intact.

Review
They just don't make soundtracks like this anymore. In the late 80's / early 90's, no matter how bad a movie was, you could usually count on some great rock songs on the soundtrack.
The soundtrack to Navy Seals is no exception. You get two exclusive songs from Mr. Big, both of which are fantastic, Bon Jovi covering the Thin Lizzy classic "The Boys Are Back In Town", plus new material from ex-Foreigner mainman Lou Gramm. The rest of the album, despite featuring relatively unknown artists, is just as good. In particular, the tracks by Gowan and Lisa Hartman are great AOR songs.
This is a must-have soundtrack for any fan of 1980s rock. There are at least half a dozen tracks on this album that you could point at and say "this was worth it for just this one song".
