This is part of a "Leftovers" auction I'm doing. I just didn't have time to list these when I did their label-specific auction.  There are 10-20 records each from Atlantic, Excello, Checker and Chess.  Some absolutely killer stuff there that I can't believe I didn't get to the first time around.

Release: The Fortunes - My Baby is Fine / Believe in Me

Format: 45 rpm 7" single

Year: 1955

Notes: Original 1955 release with the maroon "guitar neck" labels. This is one of only two singles released by this obscure Chicago group and the only one on Checker. Great R&B leaning doo-wop.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in nice shape, with just a couple of tiny scuffs. There is some storage scuffing and a weird looking mark in the runoff, but it doesn't extend into the play area. Both sides play very well with almost no background noise at all. No pops/ticks/skips, etc. Labels are really clean as well, just some very light scuffing.  This is a nice copy overall.

Look for awesome Gospel auction coming in Mid-November then I'm off for the rest of the year.  Still have some great stuff to sell and will be back at it in January.
