Description
This is part of a large auction of blues, doo-wop & R&B 45's on Chicago-based labels from the 1950's/early 60's. Several Chess, Checker, Vee-Jay and more. Many promos mixed in. Even a few from more obscure labels.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1955
Notes: Maroon label 1st pressing with the "guitar neck" pattern. Second single by Diddley, released about 3 months after I'm a Man. Great guitar-driven R&B on both sides. You can definitely hear the transition into rock n' roll here. There are a couple of small label variations to this single, this one has the catalog number at the bottom.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in really good shape. Fine side has hardly any wear at all, Daddy side has . Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all. Labels are nice with no marks/tearing/stickers. Just the slightest bit of scuffing. This is a nice copy overall.
