Description

This is part of a large auction featuring blues, R&B and doo-wop, from several different labels - a real mix this time with a nice selection of unusual small label stuff. There are a handful of Aladdin and King, but there are also some one offs from Ivy, Home of the Blues and more.

Here's the info on this item:

Release: Lowell Fulson - Blues Rhumba / Please Don't Go

Format: 45 rpm 7" single

Year: 1957

Notes: Maroon label first pressing. Slightly later single by Fulson, one my personal favorites as he hails from Tulsa, Oklahoma. A-side here is an interesting instrumental which is, just like it says, a mash up of blues guitar and a rhumba beat. The b-side is more of a classic blues sound with some horn backing that sounds really good.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, Vinyl itself is in nice shape and super-clean with almost no wear at all. It plays well and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, hardly any background noise at all. Labels have some fading and wear due to humidity/liquid exposure. This is a fantastic play copy that I'm bumping to down to high VG for cosmetics.

All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. Check back in a couple of weeks for another auction: R&B/doo-wop/blues 78's.

I want buying from me to be a good experience for you. I also know that condition can be very subjective, so I encourage you to see pics for exact condition details and ask questions if you need additional information. As always, the item you see is the one you will get. Please see my feedback, I think that will show that I am an accurate and fair grader and make sure my customers are happy.

I will combine shipping for anyone who wins more than one item.  If you do need combined shipping, please wait for an invoice before paying.
