Description
This is part of a large auction featuring blues, R&B and doo-wop, all from Chicago-based labels. There is a lot of great stuff here from many Chicago artists including Little Walter, Muddy Waters and other forefathers of the genre with few bonus listings as well.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1957
Notes: Maroon label first pressing. Just a great blues record, from one of Oklahoma's own. Has the great lyric "Don't love me long / You know my heart ain't strong." The b-side here is real R&B jumper in the style of Little Richard - amazing sax work on that one.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, Vinyl itself is in fantastic shape and super-clean with almost no wear at all, just a couple of very tiny specks. It plays well and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, hardly any background noise at all. Labels are very nice, with the lightest bit of scuffing, but no tears or stickers. This is a top notch copy overall.
All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. Check back in a couple of weeks for another new genre auction: dance records from the 70's to the early 2000's.
