Description
This is part of a large auction featuring blues, R&B and doo-wop, all from Chicago-based labels. There is a lot of great stuff here from many Chicago artists including Little Walter, Muddy Waters and other forefathers of the genre with few bonus listings as well.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1958
Notes: White label promo first pressing. One of the last few singles released by Lenoir who was a topic in Martin Scorsese's The Blues series. These two tracks lean a little bit more to the R&B side, but you can definitely hear the blues in there.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, Vinyl itself is in nice shape and super-clean with almost no wear at all, just one small row of shallow scuffs. It has a bit of a pressing defect as well, as one edge is not perfectly round. It doesn't affect play at all. The record plays well and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, hardly any background noise at all. Labels are very nice, with no tears or stickers, but there is some light ring scuffing. This is a nice copy overall that I think still barely sneaks into VG+ due to playability.
All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. Check back in a couple of weeks for another new genre auction: dance records from the 70's to the early 2000's.
