Description

This is part of a big auction of Checker & Chess 45's I'm running this week. There are lots of rarities and few Chicago-area surprise items here.  Take a look at these and keep an eye out for a Vee-Jay/DeLuxe Records auction starting 6/12 and King/Federal auction in late June.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1955


Notes: Hard to find blues 45.  Music definitely in the classic Chicago style, but a bit rougher than some of the later stuff.  Has the blue & white label with red DJ COPY & NOT FOR SALE text.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, great looking vinyl. Very clean. Tested - plays great and sounds great. Side B has a couple of very faint hairline scuffs that DNAP.  Labels are very clean as well with just the slightest bit of scuffing in a couple of spots. Very strong copy overall.
