Description

This is a part of my big auction Rockabilly/Country & Early Rock N' Roll 7" 45's. I have records from Specialty, Roulette, Dot and several really small labels up for sale this week. Release: Bobby Charles – Later Alligator / On Bended Knee

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1955


Notes: Blue label first pressing. Has the quote marks on Side A indicating the original label printing. First record and biggest hit for this Louisana singer. Charles actually released quite a few records in the 1950's and into the 60's mainly on Chess & Imperial. B-side is a really good bluesy ballad.


Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl is in great shape with hardly any wear at all, just a couple of super-fine surface scuffs. Looks very clean and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, plays with hardly any background noise at all.  Labels are nice with original gloss, no tearing/stickers. Just a bit of light scuffing. This is a nice copy overall.
