This is part of a "Leftovers" auction I'm doing. I just didn't have time to list these when I did their label-specific auction.  There are 10-20 records each from Atlantic, Excello, Checker and Chess.  Some absolutely killer stuff there that I can't believe I didn't get to the first time around.

Release: John Brim & His Gary Kings - I Would Hate to See You Go / You Got Me Where You Want Me

Format: 45 rpm 7" single

Year: 1956

Notes: Original 1956 Promo release with the blue and white labels, red info text and DJ Copy/Not For Sale notation. This is a crazy rare record.  Great electric Chicago blues, similar to Elmore James or Little Junior Parker. One of just a few records released by Brim, all in the mid-50's.

Vinyl Condition: VG/VG+, This one is right on the line. Vinyl has a few scattered marks, a few are noticeable, but none affect play at all.  There is also an odd pressing wrinkle on the Got Me side.  This thing plays great.  No pops/ticks/skips, almost no background noise at all. Labels are pretty nice, but do have some scuffing.  Cosmetically, this one is a tick below VG+, but playwise it's definitely a step above VG.

Look for awesome Gospel auction coming in Mid-November then I'm off for the rest of the year.  Still have some great stuff to sell and will be back at it in January.
