Description

This is part of a big auction of Checker & Chess 45's I'm running this week. There are lots of rarities and few Chicago-area surprise items here.  Take a look at these and keep an eye out for a Vee-Jay/DeLuxe Records auction starting 6/12 and King/Federal auction in late June.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single


Year: 1956

Notes: Quintessential example of the 1950's Chicago blues sound. Was also featured in the film Rock Rock Rock.  Blue and silver labels.

Vinyl Condition: VG+, vinyl looks good with just a few micro storage scuffs - more noticeable in runout than play area. No defects that affect play at all.  Plays great and sounds great, even the B Side that is a little bit quieter track. Labels are generally clean, but do have some fading/discoloration to the silver print, more noticeable on Side B.  See pics for exact details, nice copy overall.
