Description
This is part of a large auction featuring blues, R&B and doo-wop, all from Chicago-based labels. There is a lot of great stuff here from many Chicago artists including Little Walter, Muddy Waters and other forefathers of the genre with few bonus listings as well.

Format: 45 rpm 7" single
Year: 1961
Notes: Blue label first pressing. Early single by Guy who was born in Louisiana before moving to Chicago in 1957. A-side is kind of a mid tempo rocker and is good. The b-side though, wow, is just a stellar slow blues track with amazing guitar work. You can really hear what influenced the late 60's artists who listened to this music.
Vinyl Condition: VG+, Vinyl itself is in nice shape and super-clean with almost no wear at all, just a couple of very feint marks. It plays well and sounds great with no skips/ticks/bumps, hardly any background noise at all. Labels are very nice, with a bit of very light scuffing, but no tears or stickers. This is a really nice copy overall.
All records I sell have been personally cleaned and play tested. Check back in a couple of weeks for another new genre auction: dance records from the 70's to the early 2000's.
