Description

This is the original deep groove mono pressing of Chet Baker “In New York” on the small (3 ½”) blue and silver reel-logo labels of Riverside RLP 12-281.  The playing surface is in near-new condition, with a high luster; perhaps played once.  The laminated cover is in excellent condition – clean and bright throughout; 1/8” wear at the opening corners; 4” vertical lamination crease near the bottom right corner, on the front; light foxing at the top edge and top right corner of the back slick.  Glassine inner sleeve is included.  Personnel include Johnny Griffin, Al Haig, Paul Chambers, and Philly Joe Jones. $200.00.
